“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
-Nelson Mandela

We at St. Helen’s believe in making this weapon available to one and all. St. Helen’s goes that extra mile in reaching out to all people and assures them that they have a school that ensures that each child who enters its gates is empowered with education and turns them into independent individuals.

St. Helen’s believes in inculcating holistic learning of an individual. From the primary years itself, the curriculum is designed in a way so as to relate the theoretical learning of the class to situations that children face in their daily lives. We give them an opportunity of experiential learning by taking them for field trips, educational tours and market visits. We have confidence in the methodology of learning by doing which is practiced across all classes in the school.

Be it on stage or on the field, St. Helen’s prepares students to foster their creative talents by hosting various intra school events such as storytelling, elocution, drama, dance, singing, extempore, art exhibitions, awareness programmes, track and field meet to name a few. We encourage students to take part in the inter school festivals too in order to imbibe in them the spirit of healthy competition.

The school motto ‘Virtue and Knowledge’ encapsulates the essence of values and its importance as a chief component of the education system that we follow in our school. To be rooted in values and be aligned with the same are the strongholds of education. We teach students to be true to their moral, spiritual, emotional and ethical values no matter what circumstances they face.

Learn, unlearn & relearn is the only pathway to be a successful & outstanding teacher. Therefore, we take an initiative in encouraging teachers to bring out the best in them. We are in a constant wave of up gradation in which we want all our teachers to train and retrain themselves so as to acclimatize themselves with the latest trends in teaching to facilitate a more fruitful learning experience . Regular training and feedback keeps teachers current in pedagogical trends and reinforces what works. The refresher courses and workshops help them up their skills which in turn leads to a holistic development.

Over these thirty years our school has been instrumental in giving back to society self – made individuals, who in turn share the responsibility of creating a better tomorrow for the ones they interact with. St. Helen’s believes in continuing this noble work and act as the forerunner, bringing in a difference to the field of education.
